Xiaomi launches Mijia compact smartphone with multi-level access, fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth and up to 12 months of battery life

Xiaomi has introduced the new Mijia Smart Safe 30 cm in China.

This smart safe is equipped with a fingerprint recognition module that works in less than 0.5 seconds with an accuracy of 99.2%. In addition, the safe supports multiple access methods, including Bluetooth, password, one-time password, two-step verification, and physical key.

The Mijia Smart Safe has a Class C vandal-resistant lock and an automatically locking, push-pull door. The device also has the ability to connect to a smartphone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which allows you to receive notifications in case of unauthorised access attempts or check the status of the safe remotely.

The safe is powered by a battery that lasts up to 12 months and is charged via USB-C. The external dimensions of the device are 400 x 300 x 300 mm, and the internal dimensions are 396 x 248 x 295 mm. The price of the safe in China is CNY 699 (USD 96).

There is currently no information on the sale of this safe in other regions, including Europe.
