The Game Awards 2024 anniversary ceremony is over, emotions have subsided and it's time for dry statistics.

Here's What We Know

The TGA show impressed with its scope, the number of loud announcements and colourful displays. The Game Awards 2024 was the first in its ten-year history to break the mark of 4 million simultaneous viewers, who watched the ceremony not only on the official channel, but also on 1500 other channels. The show was broadcast not only on YouTube and Twitch channels, but also on many social networks, including X, Tik-Tok, and its re-streams were conducted by such famous bloggers as DrDisrespect, BaityBait and Caseoh Baker.

The show lasted almost five hours and kept a steady attention of the audience all this time, reaching the peak during the announcement of the winner in the category "Game of the Year".

The broadcast eventually racked up a record 15.2 million hours of views, with an average of 3.1 million viewers (note that the record of 3.6 million was set at the TGA 2023).

The trailer that gained the most views on The Game Awards official channel was the announcement of Project Century, a new game from the creators of Yakuza. And the trailer of The Witcher 4 got the most attention on all channels.
