With the latest update to the Google Drive mobile app on Android, the document scanner now has an "Enhance" feature. As the name implies, it aims to improve the quality of scanned documents without the need for manual adjustments.

Here's What We Know

When a user scans a document, the Enhance tool automatically adjusts elements such as contrast, sharpness, white balance, and shadow removal to make documents such as receipts, ID cards, and other important papers look sharper and more professional.

To use this feature, simply tap the glitter icon after scanning and the enhancements will be applied instantly. This automatic tool is designed to simplify the scanning process for users who need high-quality documents quickly.

The Enhancements feature will be available to all Google Workspace users, individual subscribers, and Google Personal Account holders in the coming weeks.

This feature is part of Google's ongoing commitment to improving the document scanning and editing experience, making it easier to scan, store, and share high-quality images of important documents directly from Google Drive.
