Insider: Monolith Studios' superhero action game Wonder Woman won't be released until 2026 at the earliest
Monolith Productions - the author of Middle-earth and once popular shooter series F.E.A.R - announced a superhero action game Wonder Woman in 2021, but so far the public has not seen any gameplay footage or significant details of the project.
It seems that such silence from the developers will last for a long time, and the game will definitely not be released in 2025.
Here's What We Know
Authoritative insider and journalist of Bloomberg Jason Schreier in Triple Click podcast told that the development of the next game based on DC comics is not going as smoothly as Monolith and Warner Bros. hoped, and the novelty will not be released before 2026.
The developers are not sure about this date, but they will do their best to make it to the deadline, because in 2026 Wonder Woman will be 85 years old and the new game will fit perfectly into the concept of celebrating the "birthday" of the cult superheroine.
Of course, the last DC Comics game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was an absolute failure, but Wonder Woman is being developed by a completely different studio and there are no hints that it will be a service game either. This gives us hope for a quality single-player action game, but it's still worth waiting for official details from the developer.
