Samsung Care+ zeroes in on screen replacement fees: free service will be available for Galaxy S smartphones from January

From 15 January 2025, users of Samsung's Care+ Theft Loss service will be able to replace the broken screen of their Galaxy phones for free.

This service waives the $29 service fee and applies to Galaxy S models only, excluding Galaxy Fold and Flip devices. The free screen replacement will be available for both front display and rear glass. It's important to note that this offer will not increase subscription costs.

Earlier this year, the company improved the programme by offering unlimited battery replacement for eligible devices. Now Samsung is making Care+ even better by offering free screen replacement, making the $10-$18 monthly fee more attractive. Users will be able to take advantage of this service at authorised Samsung repair shops or by mailing the phone in.
