Leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S25+ have revealed an interesting detail on the body
Insider images of the Galaxy S25+ destined for the US have surfaced on social network X, revealing a new mysterious detail.
Here's What We Know
The images, provided by insider @Jukanlosreve, show that on the right front panel of the device, below the power and volume buttons, we can see a new detail that at first glance appears to be a button. However, it could be a special millimetre-wave (mmWave) antenna designed to improve 5G connectivity. This antenna could mean the end of physical SIM card slots in the US, as Apple has already switched to eSIM with the iPhone 14. Samsung may follow suit.
mmWave networks offer high bandwidth and low latency, which means faster data speeds for the Galaxy S25 series. Many carriers around the world have already implemented mmWave support using Samsung equipment.
But also this leak suggests that Samsung may be inspired by the new camera control button introduced by Apple in the iPhone 16, although this is yet to be confirmed.
