Apple Maps in the web version now supports the "Look Around" feature for viewing streets and landmarks
On 17 December 2024, Apple updated the web version of its Apple Maps app to include support for the "Look Around" feature, which is analogous to Google Street View.
Here's What We Know
Users can now view high-quality panoramas of streets, restaurants, shops, attractions, and other points of interest in supported locations.
This feature was available on iOS devices, but now non-Apple users can use it through the web version of the maps. "Look Around is available in several cities in the United States, as well as in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and other countries. A full list of locations can be found on the Apple website.
The web version of Apple Maps also allows users to get driving and walking directions, find places of interest, view ratings and opening hours, and order food. It is compatible with Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox browsers on Mac, iPad and Windows.
