Disney has decided to remove the transgender storyline from the upcoming animated series Win or Lose by Pixar, which is scheduled to premiere on 19 February 2025. Although the character will remain in the show, the lines related to his gender identity have been removed.

Here's What We Know

Win or Lose will be the first long-running series from Pixar and will tell the story of the Pickles high school softball team in the week before the championship game. Each episode will focus on a different character, showing events from their perspective. Previously, it was planned that one of the characters would have a transgender storyline, but these elements were removed.

A Disney representative explained this by the desire to provide parents with the opportunity to discuss such topics with their children at their own convenience.

"When it comes to animated content for younger audiences, we understand that many parents want to discuss certain topics with their children on their own terms and at a time that suits them.

Earlier, the company pulled an episode of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, which contained a transgender storyline.
