Another reputable insider has confirmed that Microsoft will be holding a major game show as early as January
Last week, reputable insider Jez Corden revealed that Microsoft is planning to hold another instalment of its Xbox Developer Direct game show in early 2025.
The company has yet to make an official announcement, but another reliable source has confirmed and supplemented Corden's information.
Here's What We Know
Tom Warren, editor-in-chief of The Verge, said that it is very likely that the Xbox show will take place as early as January 2025.
Warren also reminded that next year Microsoft's internal studios have several major releases planned, including Avowed, Doom: The Dark Ages, The Outer Worlds 2, South of Midnight, Towerborne and Fable. All of these new products need an active advertising campaign and Microsoft is unlikely to delay it.
feels like Microsoft has finally hit a good cadence with Xbox Game Pass releases, especially with recent drops like Indiana Jones and what's ahead in 2025. Avowed, South of Midnight, Doom, Towerborne, Fable, Outer Worlds 2, and more are coming next year. I'm also expecting an Xbox event in January ????
