Insider: inspired by the success of Black Myth: Wukong, Chinese developers are preparing to announce another ambitious game

Black Myth: Wukong has become one of the major releases of 2024. Analysts immediately predicted that the popularity of the action game will encourage other Chinese developers to release games of the same scope and quality, and it seems that this process has already started.

The authoritative Chinese insider Lunatic Ignus shared exclusive information about the new action-RPG, which may eclipse Black Myth: Wukong.

According to him, the game will be called The Legend of Quanyong Heroes (he immediately clarifies that it may change) and is being developed on Unreal Engine 5.

The unnamed studio is preparing a project with a huge open world of 960 km2, with stunning graphics and high detail.

According to Lunatic Ignus, the developers, as well as their colleagues from Game Science, have partnered with Sony, so The Legend of Quanyong Heroes will be released only on PC and PS5.

The insider also presented some artwork, from which we can judge that the game will be in oriental setting and looks very beautiful.

The informant doesn't know the release date of the ambitious Chinese game, but suggests that we can expect an announcement in 2025.
