Science and diplomacy will be his priorities: the developers of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII have introduced Benjamin Franklin
Firaxis Games studio has unveiled another trailer for Sid Meier's Civilisation 7 historical 4X-strategy, which introduces another national leader.
Here's What We Know
When starting a game for America, players will be able to choose Ben Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the United States, as their leader.
This outstanding man can emphasise scientific development or focus on diplomacy. In the role of leader, Franklin gives the player additional production and science points for placing production buildings in cities and guarantees some other bonuses that will help to discover new technologies faster.
Benjamin Franklin prefers to do business with those who share his political views and shuns those of a different opinion.
Previously, the developers of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII introduced the following leaders:
- the first female pharaoh, Hatshepsut;
- the founder of the Roman Empire, Octavian Augustus;
- the great Chinese philosopher Confucius;
- Native American leader Tecumseh;
- Vietnamese leader Trung Trac;
- the ruler of India, Ashoka;
- the legendary Persian king Xerxes;
- Italian thinker, philosopher and politician Niccolò Machiavelli;
- Queen Isabel I de Castilla of Spain;
- the ninth ruler of the Inca Empire, Pachacuti;
- King Charlemagne of France;
- warrior queen Amina;
- traveller and geographer Ibn Battuta.
