MediaTek has announced the launch date for its new Dimensity chips

MediaTek has announced that it will unveil its next generation of Dimensity chips on 23 December in China. While the exact name of the chips has not been revealed, one of them is expected to be the Dimensity 8400.
Here's What We Know
This chip is expected to be built on a 4nm process and use a 1+3+4 architecture. It will feature the Immortalis-G720 MC7 GPU and is rumoured to score over 1.8 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks.
The first smartphone to get this chip is likely to be the Redmi Turbo 4, which is expected to be released early next year. MediaTek has not yet revealed any details about the upcoming chips.
