Elon Musk may launch a new webmail service that will compete with Gmail and may be called X Mail.

Here's What We Know

Rumours of an alternative to Gmail from X (formerly Twitter) are actively discussed online, and Musk has already hinted at developing a minimalist and user-friendly platform.

During the discussion of X Mail, one user on X (formerly Twitter) suggested an email solution that presents incoming messages in plain "clear text", similar to messaging apps such as WhatsApp or Telegram.

He suggested removing threads and formatting entirely to make email simpler and more intuitive. Elon Musk responded to this post by saying, "That's exactly what we're going to do."

In the community, the future webmail is called "X Mail", given Musk's love for the letter "X". It is not yet known whether the launch will take place, whether this name will be used, or whether the minimalist design will be implemented. Details have not yet been disclosed. As for financing, a paid subscription will probably be introduced.
