Casio G-Shock DW5000R sold out within hours of launch in the US and UK

Casio recently introduced the G-Shock DW5000R in the US and UK, and it sold out in a few hours.

This model commemorates the 40th anniversary of the original G-Shock, launched in 1983, and retains its classic design. It is also equipped with modern features such as LED backlighting, dual time format, stopwatch, and multiple alarms.

The watch costs $200 in the US and £179 in the UK.

Since its launch in Japan in early December, sales of the watch have been extremely successful. The model, which is not a limited edition, has been sold out at Casio's online stores and many third-party retailers.

New batches of the watch are expected to arrive at a later date, but the exact timing has not yet been announced. Also, according to recent leaks, the new model may be available in Italy in the coming days.
