Users in the US can call ChatGPT at 1-800-ChatGPT to get answers over the phone

OpenAI has introduced a new feature for US users: you can now call or send an SMS to 1-800-ChatGPT (1-800-242-8478) to receive answers from ChatGPT.

This new feature was announced during the OpenAI event, which lasts 12 days.

The 1-800-ChatGPT number is designed for situations when there is no Internet access but mobile communication is available. With this feature, ChatGPT provides voice answers to questions and also supports landlines. Additionally, users can send messages via WhatsApp, but images or videos are not currently supported.

Any phone number in the United States can contact ChatGPT and receive 15 minutes of free answering time without the need for an OpenAI account. To continue calling, you need to download the app and create an account.

This feature is experimental and availability and conditions may change in the future.
