Apple releases first public beta versions of iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3 and macOS Sequoia 15.3
Apple has released the first public beta versions of iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS Sequoia 15.3, allowing users to test the new updates before their official release early next year.
Here's What We Know
The beta versions appeared a few days after the updates became available to developers. In addition, public betas of tvOS 18.3 and watchOS 11.3 were released.
The updates are available for download through the Settings app after registering on Apple's public beta testing website. While iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 don't have any significant new features, macOS Sequoia 15.3 introduces the ability to create custom emojis through the new Genmoji feature for Mac users.
The updates are also expected to include support for Matter and HomeKit robotic vacuum cleaners, allowing these devices to be integrated into Apple's smart home ecosystem.
The official release of these updates is scheduled for the end of January 2025.
