Native 4K or 60 FPS: Capcom has revealed technical details of the console versions of Monster Hunter Wilds
Capcom held a special broadcast dedicated to Monster Hunter Wilds, where it revealed important information about the technical nuances of the ambitious action game.
Here's What We Know
The Japanese developer said that on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles the game can be launched in two traditional modes:
- Quality mode - 4K output resolution (native resolution of 3072x1728), 30 FPS;
- Performance mode - 4K output resolution (native resolution 1920x1080), 60 FPS.
On the weak and technically outdated Xbox Series S console, Monster Hunter Wilds runs in only one mode - native FullHD resolution (1920x1080) at 30 FPS.
As for the improved version of the action game for PlayStation 5 Pro, it will be released simultaneously with the first day patch.
About the PC-version of the game reported that at the moment Capcom is working on reducing the minimum system requirements. Recall, they were published back in September and they caused a lot of questions. To PC-gamers could be sure in the normal operation of Monster Hunter Wilds, the developers may release a special benchmark, but so far no terms are not called.
