Lenovo is likely preparing a third update to its Yoga Book 9i dual-screen laptop, which could be unveiled at CES 2025, two years after the first version debuted at the same event.

Here's What We Know

Popular insider Evan Blass has shared new renders of the device, which confirm that the laptop's design will remain almost unchanged from the previous generation.

The Yoga Book 9i has two OLED screens connected by a prominent hinge in the middle. This design has remained unchanged for several years and is not likely to change significantly until new developments in the folding screen industry emerge.

An important point is that you will have to buy a keyboard and stylus separately, although you can use one of the halves of the screen as a touch keyboard. If this is inconvenient, you can buy a budget Bluetooth keyboard.

The previous version of Yoga Book 9i was equipped with an Intel Core i7-1365U processor. The processor has 2 productive cores, 8 energy-efficient cores and supports multithreading (12 threads). TDP is 15 watts. The laptop is also equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 512 GB or 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The next model is expected to feature a new Intel Arrow Lake-U or even Lunar Lake processor, which will be a good choice for the compact form factor of the device.

Whether the new product will be able to attract new users will become clear after the official announcement at CES 2025. So far, all this information is unofficial, and we are waiting for confirmation from Lenovo at CES 2025.
