The combat system in the survival-horror Cronos: The New Dawn will be more reminiscent of Resident Evil remakes than Silent Hill 2
During the Xbox Partner Showcase in October, Bloober Team announced its next project - the sci-fi survival-horror Cronos: The New Dawn. Will the battles be similar to Silent Hill 2? No, they won't.
Here's What We Know
In an interview with GamingBolt, the game's producer Jacek Zięba said that when it comes to combat, Cronos is more Resident Evil and less Silent Hill.
The new Resident Evil remakes show us how to combine old-school design with modern technology and gaming standards in a clever way
So, Bloober draws knowledge from these remakes to create something that can be similar and familiar to players on the one hand, and purely unique on the other.
But the authors were also inspired by Dead Space, so we can expect a mixture of the two cult horror series.
When We Can Expect It
Cronos: The New Dawn is scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
