Studio GSC Game World published an address to the fans of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., in which not only congratulated them on the upcoming winter holidays, but also reported on its plans for the development of the series.

Here's What We Know

Ukrainian developers do not plan to stop releasing updates for S.T.A.L.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Many more major patches are being prepared for the shooter, including content innovations.

In early 2025, the studio will publish a detailed roadmap, which will indicate specific information about the development of the shooter.

Updates are also being prepared for the compilation S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone. On Xbox and PlayStation will be released nextgen patch, which will leverage more features of the current generation consoles and improve the cult trilogy.

A similar update is being prepared for the PC versions of the old S.T.A.L.K.E.R. parts. Details are still unknown, but apparently they will improve the quality of graphics and implement some modern options.

GSC Game World thanks gamers for their support and hopes that during the festive period they will have time to start, continue or complete the walkthrough of S.T.A.L.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
