According to the latest information, Apple is planning to release a new version of HomePod with a 7-inch display and A18 chip in 2025.

Here's What We Know

The device is expected to feature a touchscreen, which will allow the company to compete with similar products on the market and offer users an updated product. The displays for the new HomePod will come from Chinese manufacturer Tianma, with whom Apple has struck a favourable deal to reduce the cost of components.

The A18 chip, which is also used in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, will provide high performance for the device. The HomePod will also support Apple Intelligence features, which will require at least 8GB of RAM. The new version of the HomePod is expected to be compatible with AAA-rated games and will not overheat as sometimes happens with the iPhone 16. Pricing for the new device has not yet been revealed, but it is expected that Apple will price it competitively to successfully compete with Google and Amazon products.
