Oppo Find X8 Mini may get a 5600 mAh battery
A new Oppo smartphone with the model number PKH120 has recently appeared in the database of the Chinese certification platform. This version supports satellite communications, while its analogue, the PKH110, does not have this feature.
Here's What We Know
Both models were listed in the UFSC database, where it became known about the battery capacity of these devices.
Previously, it was assumed that this is the upcoming Find X8 Ultra. Now it is speculated that it could be either the Find N5 or the compact Find X8 Mini.
Oppo PKH110 and PKH120 received a battery with a nominal capacity of 5475 mAh. The Digital Chat Station insider claims that the typical capacity will be 5600 mAh. The exact name of the smartphone is not yet known, but the source clarifies that it is not the X8 Ultra, as the Ultra is likely to receive a more powerful 6000 mAh battery.
The Oppo Find X8 is a flagship smartphone with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The main camera consists of three 50-megapixel sensors, and the front camera has 32 megapixels. The smartphone has a 5630 mAh battery with 80W fast charging and IP68 protection.
For comparison, the Find N3 had a 4805 mAh battery, and its successor, the Find N5, may have two 2460 mAh and 3105 mAh cells, giving a total of 5700 mAh.
Meanwhile, a 5600 mAh battery seems more logical for a compact smartphone. For example, Vivo X200 Pro Mini with a 6.31-inch screen has a similar 5700 mAh battery.
We are waiting for official news to find out for sure whether the PKH120 will be the new Find X8 Mini or the Find N5. According to preliminary information, the Find N5 is likely to be presented in February 2025, and the X8 Mini and Ultra models in the first quarter of next year.
