Bluetooth SIG certification reveals improved wireless capabilities of Samsung Galaxy A56

Samsung is preparing to launch a new Galaxy A56 smartphone, which has reportedly recently passed the Bluetooth SIG certification.

Here's What We Know

As revealed by the certification, the device, which bears the model number SM-A566B_DS, will feature Bluetooth 5.4, which is an improvement over the Bluetooth 5.3 used in the Galaxy A55. The new Exynos 1580 chip, which is rumoured to power the Galaxy A56, supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, providing more reliable wireless connectivity and improved power efficiency for the devices.

In addition to updated Bluetooth, the Galaxy A56 is expected to get 45W fast charging support and longer support for software updates. The device is also rumoured to feature an updated 12-megapixel selfie camera and the smartphone will also get a slightly redesigned design with a flat metal frame. The Galaxy A56 is expected to be unveiled in spring next year.
