According to rumours, REDMI is preparing a new smartphone that will get a 7500 mAh battery

Towards the end of 2024, Chinese smartphone manufacturers started releasing devices with large 6000-6500 mAh batteries. It looks like this trend will continue in 2025 and smartphones with batteries larger than 7000 mAh are expected to be released next year.

Here's What We Know

According to a well-known Digital Chat Station insider, REDMI is working on one such smartphone that will feature a 7,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. Supposedly, this will be the REDMI Turbo 4 Pro. According to the whistleblower, this phone is focused on high performance and will have a flat display with narrow bezels.

Earlier it was reported that the device will feature the new Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset and an LTPS OLED screen with support for 1.5K resolution. The smartphone's exterior will feature a metal frame and glass back panel. Also, according to the leak, the new device will not get a telephoto lens, but the main camera will be of sufficient quality.

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is expected to be unveiled in the first half of 2025. In the global market, this smartphone might be renamed as Poco F7.
