Zelnick noted that the biggest hits are often unexpected, and GTA 6 will be no exception. He also talked about the considerable success of GTA 5 and GTA Online, which exceeded the company's expectations.

The Take-Two head also revealed that GTA 5 and GTA Online were originally not planned to use virtual currency in the game, but this decision was later revised, which led to a huge success. Zelnick expressed confidence that GTA 6 will offer players something bigger and better than they could have imagined and emphasised the importance of the creative freedom given to developers by Rockstar Games.
