In the interview, he emphasised that the development team is listening to fan feedback and is keen to introduce something new, making the game unique and unpredictable. Zelnick noted that the biggest hits are often unexpected, and GTA 6 will be no exception. He also talked about the considerable success of GTA 5 and GTA Online, which exceeded the company's expectations.
The Take-Two head also revealed that GTA 5 and GTA Online were originally not planned to use virtual currency in the game, but this decision was later revised, which led to a huge success. The game is expected to be released in autumn 2025 and is expected to be a significant event in the gaming industry.
