OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones officially unveiled in China
OnePlus as promised, announced today, 26 December, the new Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones in China.

Both devices feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO 1.5K 8T display with 1-120Hz and peak brightness up to 4,500 nits. Both models feature OPPO Crystal Shield Glass screen protection. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and features the industry's first Fengchi Gaming Core chip-level gaming technology, and supports native 120 fps image quality at 1080p resolution. The device features a dual ice core with VC heatsink and an exclusive chip duct design for fast heat dissipation and low case temperature.

The smartphone also features smart Bluetooth with a range of up to 400 metres and the industry's first Wi-Fi G1 gaming chip. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro has a 6,100mAh battery that charges to 52 per cent in 15 minutes and 100 per cent in 36 minutes, supports wireless charging and 100W fast charging.
The OnePlus Ace 5 is powered by a VC-cooled Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and has a 6,400mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Both smartphones feature a 50 MP main camera with Sony IMX906 sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro camera, and a 16 MP front camera. Both models record video on the main camera at a maximum resolution of 4K 60 fps, while the front camera records 1080p 30 fps.

Available memory configurations for both smartphones are 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB / 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Both the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro have optical fingerprint sensors, infrared ports, and IP65 dust and splash protection.
The smartphones are available for order and will go on sale in China from 31 December. The OnePlus Ace 5 will be launched in global markets next month under the name OnePlus 13R.
