Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has received EEC certification: global launch may take place next year
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has taken another step towards global release. The international model of the device under the number "2505APX7BG" has been certified by the European Economic Commission (EEC).

Earlier, both Chinese and global versions of the smartphone were spotted in the GSMA IMEI database. According to preliminary data, the device may be launched in May 2025. The Chinese version of Mix Flip 2 has the model number "2505APX7BC". The certification confirms the preparation of the device for the European market, although details about the characteristics of the new product have not yet been disclosed.
For comparison, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, released in 2024, received many positive reviews for its premium features. The smartphone was equipped with a 6.9-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, brightness of up to 3,000 nits, and 1.5K resolution. An additional 4-inch screen on the lid also supported 120Hz.

It also became known that Xiaomi 15 Ultra may appear earlier than expected. Its presentation is likely to take place at MWC in Barcelona in February 2025. The device features include: 6.73-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 6,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and a camera based on Sony LYT-900 sensor (50 MP).
