A fortnight ago, the Steam game service set a new record for peak online with almost 40 million people connected to it. However, several achievements became known towards the end of the year.

Here's What We Know

According to the SteamDB service, developers released 18,825 video games on Steam in 2024, which is 24% more than the previous year. Note that of this number, 14,888 games are classified as restricted. These games have restricted profiles because they don't meet a number of criteria, such as number of players or sales volume.
