Google is likely testing a new download manager in the Play Store to make it easier to browse recently installed apps
Google is apparently testing a new Download Manager feature in the Play Store that should make it easier to browse recently installed apps.
Here's What We Know
This option will appear as a separate button that will be located on application pages in the upper right corner of the Play Store interface. It will allow users to quickly see apps that have been recently installed but not yet launched.
Information about the testing of this feature appeared earlier this month, and now it has been confirmed by well-known insider Mishaal Rahman, who noted that it is already available to some users. This means that Google has started testing the new feature among a limited number of users or is gradually rolling it out to everyone.

The new feature allows users to see not only recently installed apps, but also the progress of their downloads during installation. Users can also jump straight to the apps by clicking on the buttons next to their names. In addition, the Download Manager button will display a counter showing the number of recently installed apps.
The feature is not yet available to all users, and it is not clear how quickly it will be rolled out to all Android gadget owners.
Recently, it became known that Japan may accuse Google of violating antitrust laws. The country's government is considering a case regarding the Chrome browser, believing that the company is imposing conditions on smartphone manufacturers to pre-install the browser and place it in a certain place on the screen. This is a prerequisite for access to the Google Play app store.
