Stellantis announced the recall of five Jeep, Ram and Alfa Romeo models at once
Stellantis has announced five recall campaigns in one day. They affect more than 80,000 vehicles across several models.
Here's What We Know
The largest recall affects 79,365 Jeep vehicles. The models involved are: Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L 2024. They have an "improperly programmed rearview camera module" that may not show images when reversing. The solution to the problem is relatively simple: dealers will install new software for said module.
The linked recall applies to 295 rearview camera modules from Mopar. The method of troubleshooting is similar. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified to come to a service station next month.
Another service campaign affects 53 2025 model year Ram 1500 pickup trucks. They have received incorrect headlight module software that may cause them to not function properly. The solution to the problem is a software update.

Under another recall in the US, 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio cars of the 2019 and 2020 model years are under another recall. Due to a process flaw during production, the connection between the brake pedal stem and the actuator on the brake booster may be loose on the sedans and crossovers. This defect causes the brake components to separate, resulting in the only way to stop the vehicle is to use the electronic parking brake switch. Service stations will inspect the brake system components and replace the brake booster if necessary, free of charge.
