The main steel structure has been completed at the Tesla Semi plant

The main steel structure has been completed at the Semi Factory Nevada construction site. Dan Priestley, Tesla Semi Programme Manager, announced this on social network X. He also shared several photos of the facility.
Here's What We Know
The Tesla Semi was first unveiled in 2017 and was supposed to hit the market in 2020, but production didn't officially begin until late 2022. Despite the presentation of the serial version and the formal start of production, the programme has not yet seen much development.
In October 2023, it became known that Tesla built only about 70 units of Tesla Semi and used them for internal needs, as well as transferred some of the vehicles to the main client - the company PepsiCo.

In January 2023, Tesla announced the expansion of Gigafactory Nevada to scale Tesla Semi production. A year later, plans changed, and instead of expanding the existing Giga Nevada as originally planned, Tesla began building a new plant next to the existing one. In April, Tesla said it plans to complete that plant next year and begin production of Tesla Semi trucks by "the end of 2025."
Construction seems to be progressing at a good pace, but there is still a lot of work to be done before Tesla can start mass production of electric haulers there.
