Android Auto gets an updated music player with a new design
Android Auto is getting an important update. A new music player design that improves the usability of apps like Spotify and Apple Music.
Here's What We Know
Google has begun rolling out the Android Auto 13.4 update.
The first changes that can be noticed in Android Auto after the update concern the music player. The new design changes the arrangement of elements on the screen.
The album artwork is now on the left side, making room for the track progress bar, which contains the song title, artist name, and running time. The text is now slightly smaller to accommodate all the elements. The music control buttons have also been redesigned to take up the full width of the screen, but their functionality remains largely unchanged.
These changes not only improve the overall look of the player, but also allow users to control their music more conveniently while driving, without having to adapt to a new interface for different applications every time.

In addition, the new design also includes an updated font that was part of the Android Auto update. This makes the text on the screen clearer and easier to read.
Despite these changes, the "Car Media" feature, which will allow you to play local media, including radio stations, has not yet appeared. However, the new design may be a step towards introducing this feature in the future.
The changes will be available depending on the type of screen and resolution of the vehicle.
