Director John M. Chu, while working on Wicked: The Conjuring, said that he actively used the Apple Vision Pro headset during post-production.

Here's What We Know

Although Vision Pro is a rather expensive technology costing $3,500, Chu noted that this device became an important tool for working on the film. The headset allowed him to view materials on a much larger virtual screen, as well as hold discussions with the team without leaving his home.

"We had a lot of visual effects created all over the world. I could be at home and work with a screen that was bigger than the one we had in the screening room, and at the same time communicate with people from different continents while watching the material," said the director.

Vision Pro allows users to work with multiple windows at the same time, which is especially convenient for viewing and editing material. In addition, Chu emphasised that with Apple Vision Pro, he was able to use his fingers to zoom and mark elements on the screen for further editing.

John M. Chu described this experience as important to his work, as spatial computing technology has opened up new possibilities for visualising and editing film.

"The Enchantress is a musical film based on the classic 1939 story The Wizard of Oz. The film can now be pre-ordered via Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro owners will be able to watch it in 3D.
