Garmin has introduced a new series of Instinct 3 smartwatches, which will replace the Instinct 2. The new products have AMOLED and MiP displays, as well as the budget model Instinct E.

Here's What We Know

The Instinct 3 will start at a price of USD 299.99 for the base model, and variants with AMOLED display will cost from USD 449.99. All models have a metal frame and support Garmin Pay for contactless payments and precise GNSS navigation for working in difficult conditions.

The main difference between the Instinct 3 models is the two display options. The MiP (Memory in Pixel) models offer better battery life, while the AMOLED versions provide a brighter image, but with a slight decrease in battery life.

In addition, the Instinct 3 is equipped with a built-in flashlight, which will come in handy in the dark, but this feature is not available in the budget model Instinct E.

Regardless of the variant, the new watches support the SatIQ function to optimise GPS usage and also include new software features such as Garmin Share for data sharing. Another important feature is the new fourth-generation heart rate sensor, which ensures accurate measurements during training.

Garmin also introduced the Instinct E as a more affordable version of the series. This model retains the main features, but has simplified functions that allow for a significant price reduction. It is also available in 40mm and 45mm sizes, allowing for a variety of users to choose the right fit.

All Instinct 3 models will be available for pre-order from 10 January, with deliveries scheduled to begin after that date.
