Samsung has released the third beta version of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 smartphones and in this update, users are now able to choose from which corner of the screen to open the quick settings panel.

Here's What We Know

With the release of One UI 7, Samsung has introduced a change that includes splitting notifications and quick settings into two separate panels. The quick settings panel was accessed by swiping down from the right corner of the screen, but now you can set up a swipe from the left corner as well. To do this, you need to open the quick access panel, go to edit mode and select "Panel settings", after which you need to activate the "Quick panel from the left side" switch.

For those who are used to using the old variant of the notification panel, where quick settings and notifications are together, then this option can also be activated in the Panel Settings.

Users can now choose how they prefer to access these features, making the One UI 7 interface more flexible and user-friendly. The new feature is especially useful for those who prefer to use their left hand to control the device.
