Hogwarts Legacy becomes the best-selling project in the UK game sales chart for the first week of 2025

Last week's UK retail chart showed the 10 best-selling games in the first week of 2025.

Here's What We Know

Hogwars Legacy took the first place. Although this is a story-based game that was released in the first half of 2023, people still continue to buy it in large numbers, which indicates interest in single-player projects.

EA Sports FC 25 is in second place, which is almost always in the top five, but Elden Ring has broken into third place.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is in fourth place, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rounds out the top five.

The 6th and 7th places are once again taken by Nintendo games: Super Mario Party Jamboree and Nintendo Switch Sports.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate took 8th place, while the last two places went to Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition and Minecraft (Switch).
