Casio unveils new G-Shock GA-2100RL-1A and GA-110RL-1A bioresin shock-resistant watches in the US

The Japanese company Casio has announced the release of two new models of G-Shock watches - GA-2100RL-1A and GA-110RL-1A.

Both watches feature environmentally friendly materials such as bioresin, as well as increased shock resistance and water resistance.

The GA-2100RL-1A is a continuation of the successful GA-2100 series, which is known for its stylish carbon fibre case. The watch is made of carbon and bioresin, which makes it lightweight (weighing only 51 grams), but very durable at the same time.

The model is water resistant to 200 metres and shockproof thanks to the Carbon Core Guard design.

Main features of GA-2100RL-1A

• Dual LED backlight for better visibility in the dark.
• World time function for 31 time zones.
• Full automatic calendar up to 2099.
• Battery life - up to 3 years on two SR726W cells.

The colour palette of the watch combines red, blue and yellow, which symbolise passion, water resistance and shock resistance, respectively. The model will be an ideal option for both casual and more formal styles.

For those who like large designs, Casio also introduced the GA-110RL-1A, which measures 55 x 51.2 x 16.9 mm and weighs 72 grams. This watch is not only shock resistant but also magnetic resistant.

GA-110RL-1A features

• Chronometer with an accuracy of 1/1000th of a second.
• World time function for 29 time zones.
• Amber LED backlight for easy reading in the dark.
• The watch has a combination of analogue and digital displays.
