Mado Dynamic announces AI blinds with built-in solar panel that can operate for up to six months without recharging
Mado Dynamic has presented the new Mado C-Series solar powered blinds with Matter support to reduce energy costs in homes.
Here's What We Know
These smart blinds automatically raise and lower throughout the day, optimising the temperature in your home and reducing the need for heating and cooling.

The blinds presented at CES 2025 combine stylish design in classic white and modern carbon colours. They are solar-powered and use data on weather, sun position and user preferences to automatically adjust the position of the blinds. This helps to reduce heating and cooling costs, as windows are the main sources of energy loss in a building.
During the day, the blinds are raised to maximise heat from the sun and lowered at night to prevent heat loss.
The built-in battery provides up to six months of operation without recharging, and the solar panel constantly charges it throughout the year. For user convenience, the blinds can be controlled via smartphone or remote control. The mobile app displays the current position of the blinds and allows you to track energy savings throughout the year.
The Mado C-Series is compatible with Matter, a standard for smart devices that allows the blinds to be integrated into popular smartphone ecosystems. They will be available through a Kickstarter campaign starting at $279, and will be available in retail stores later in 2025, starting at $399.
