Diplomat and urbanist: new Sid Meier's Civilisation VII trailer introduces gamers to the Marquis de Lafayette
Studio Firaxis Games continues to introduce gamers to the leaders available in the historical 4X-strategy Sid Meier's Civilisation VII, and presented another trailer.
Here's What We Know
The main character of the new trailer is the Marquis de Lafayette, a participant in the American War of Independence, the French Revolution, and the July Revolution of 1830.
As a national leader in Civilisation VII, this historical character can develop his country culturally or focus on diplomatic relations with other nations.
He respects leaders with a large number of city blocks and avoids those whose settlements have not reached a high level of development.
Lafayette gets an extra slot in the social policy development tree and strengthens his combat units when his state respects traditions.
Previously, the developers of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII introduced the following leaders:
- The first female pharaoh Hatshepsut;
- the founder of the Roman Empire, Octavian Augustus;
- the great Chinese philosopher Confucius;
- Native American leader Tecumseh;
- Vietnamese leader Trung Trac;
- the ruler of India, Ashoka;
- the legendary Persian king Xerxes;
- Italian thinker, philosopher and politician Niccolò Machiavelli;
- Queen Isabel I de Castilla of Spain;
- the ninth ruler of the Inca Empire, Pachacuti;
- King Charlemagne of France;
- warrior queen Amina;
- traveller and geographer Ibn Battuta;
