Redmi Watch 5 enters the international market

Xiaomi has started selling the Redmi Watch 5 smartwatch internationally after its release in China last November.

This gadget stands out with a large and bright display, long battery life of up to 24 days, and advanced health and physical activity monitoring functions.

The main feature of the new device is a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with the narrowest bezels of any Xiaomi watch. This display provides up to 1500 nits of brightness, which is twice as much as the previous model, and allows you to see information clearly even in direct sunlight. In addition, the watch has a screen-to-body ratio of 82%, which provides an even better view.

The Redmi Watch 5 has improved vibration thanks to a new linear motor that delivers accurate and quiet responses, as well as a dual noise-cancelling microphone system for clear calls.

In terms of health and fitness, the new smartwatch features a new algorithm for more accurate heart rate monitoring, which provides 5.2% more accuracy than the previous model. The smartwatch can also accurately track sleep quality with a 10% improvement.

For sports enthusiasts, there are more than 150 modes, including professional options for running and cycling. In addition, the gadget has a 5-system GNSS for precise monitoring of external activities. A waterproof case with 5 ATM certification, support for local music playback, and up to 24 days of battery life also make this smartwatch an attractive option for users.

The Redmi Watch 5 will be available from 15 January for £89.99 (approx. US$110) in the UK.
