Xiaomi releases international version of Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G with 200MP camera

Xiaomi has unveiled the global release of the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G smartphone, which appeared after a month of sales in India.

The new smartphone is equipped with a powerful 200MP Light Hunter 800 camera and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, and supports 120W charging. This is the flagship model in the Redmi Note 14 series, which has 5G and Android 14 support with the promise of three major Android updates in the future.
The smartphone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels (1.5K), a brightness peak of 3,000 nits, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It's also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has IP68 certification for water resistance, although in China the model is sold with IP69 certification.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G is equipped with a camera with a 200MP main sensor, which has optical image stabilisation and a large 1/1.4-inch sensor. In addition, the smartphone has an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The smartphone comes with a 5110 mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. The back of the device offers three colour options: Frost Blue, Lavender Purple, and Midnight Black.
The price of the model starts at £399 (€499.90) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, and £449 (€529.90) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.
The smartphone will be available to buyers on 15 January 2025.
