Samsung is gearing up to launch its new mid-range smartphones Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A56 5G, which recently passed IECEE certification, revealing new specifications.

Here's What We Know

The certification has confirmed several Galaxy A36 models for different regions, including SM-A366B and SM-A336B/DS (Europe single and dual SIM), SM-A366E and SM-A366E/DS (Asia single and dual SIM), SM-A366U and SM-A366U1 (Carrier locked and unlocked models in the US) and others. While for the Galaxy A56 5G, the models listed are SM-A566B and SM-A566B/DS (Europe) and SM-A566E and SM-A566E/DS (Asia).

An important update will be that the Galaxy A36, like the Galaxy A56, will support 45W fast charging, which will be a significant improvement over the 25W charging of the A35 and A55. The Galaxy A36 5G will also reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor with at least 6GB of RAM. The Galaxy A56 5G, on the other hand, will feature an Exynos 1580 processor and 8GB of RAM. Also, according to leaks, the Galaxy A56 5G will get a 5000 mAh battery and a Dynamic AMOLED display.

More information about the devices will be revealed as we get closer to their announcement, which is expected tentatively in March.
