OnePlus 13R gets its first OxygenOS update with some improvements

OnePlus unveiled its new 13R smartphone the other day, and already the device is receiving its first software update.

Here's What We Know

The update will be available as soon as you first switch on the phone, which will go on sale in a few days. While this update is not a major update, it does include a few useful features. There's now the ability to personalise watermarks in the Photos app, and a Touch to Share feature has been added to support iOS devices.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stability has been improved, as well as Bluetooth compatibility. Colours in photos taken with the main camera and telephoto lens are richer, and camera performance and stability are generally improved. An issue with photos being overly bright has been fixed, charging status has been added to Live Alerts, and overall system stability and performance has been improved.

The OxygenOS update has a build number of 15.0.0.0.403 and includes the December 2024 security update.
