Delta Force developers have unveiled extensive development plans for the shooter, with the first season set to launch as early as next week
The developers of the conditionally free-to-play shooter Delta Force postponed the release of the mobile version to the summer, but the development of the game on PC is actively continuing and Team Jade studio revealed its plans for 2025.
Here's What We Know
Chinese developers reported that support for Delta Force is already planned for four seasons. They will include new maps, gadgets, combat vehicles, operators, weapons and modifiers for it, as well as some kind of additional gameplay mechanics. There is an assumption that one of them will be a traditional for network shooters killcam - a detailed display of the player's death, in order to learn from mistakes and not to repeat them.
Delta Force roadmap
The first season of Delta Force, titled Starfall, will launch on January 18th and will feature the story campaign "Black Hawk Down" (Black Hawk Down), which will take place in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, in the early 90s, where an American military helicopter crashes and a squad is sent to help the crew, who find themselves in the middle of the fighting. The developers have acquired a licence to use footage from the Ridley Scott film of the same name and will use some of its scenes in the game.
