Unmanned aerial vehicle forces hit Bryansk chemical plant for missile production (video)
The Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces reported a successful operation against a strategic facility in the Bryansk region of Russia. A chemical plant, which is part of Russia's military-industrial complex, was struck in the town of Seltsy.

According to the official telegram channel of the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine, the company was engaged in the production of gunpowder, explosives and components for rocket fuel. The plant produced ammunition for cannon artillery, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), aviation,X-59cruise missiles, as well as for theTOS-1 TosochkaandZemledeliesystems. In addition, they carried out major repairs of equipment, includingGrad,UraganandTornado-GMLRS.
According to the report, during the operation, which took place in three waves, Ukrainian drones first distracted enemy air defence systems, then missiles were launched to hit the main facilities of the plant, and the third wave included long-range drones, which additionally destroyed substations and other important elements of the plant's infrastructure.
The operation was a model of coordination between intelligence, missile forces, rocketry and unmanned systems.
Context.
This chemical plant played a significant role in supplying the Russian army with weapons and ammunition. A strike on it could have a significant impact on Russia's military capabilities, particularly in the production of missile weapons and the repair of equipment.
The Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine are a separate branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, created on 6 February 2024. They use air, sea and ground unmanned systems to perform a variety of tasks, including reconnaissance and strike operations. The main goal of the Force is to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine and destroy the enemy with maximum accuracy, minimising risks to personnel. The Commander is Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi, who is actively introducing new technologies and approaches to combat operations.
