The iconic Japanese franchise will get a sequel: two insiders have shared information at once about a "secret game" that will be unveiled at the Xbox Developer Direct

Next week Microsoft will be holding the Xbox Developer Direct game show, where it will present four games: DOOM: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and some secret game from an unnamed studio.
Of course, this announcement could not go unnoticed and journalists and insiders started looking for information about the mysterious announcement. Earlier it was believed that this show will be a remake/remaster of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, but there is information that completely excludes it.
Here's What We Know
Two reputable insiders have reported that the fourth game at the Xbox Developer Direct will be "a new game based on a legendary Japanese franchise with decades of history behind it." Neither Windows Central editor Jez Corden nor eXtas1s said what the game would be, and there are too many series to make a confident prediction.
But taking into account Square Enix's desire to establish close co-operation with Microsoft, it is realistic to predict that a new instalment of the legendary Dragon Quest series will be announced at the show. Also we can't exclude that the audience will be presented the first trailer of JRPG Persona 6, which has been rumoured for a long time, and Atlus studio employees hinted that they will show something interesting in 2025.
Well, let's wait for the 23rd of January and see what will be shown to us at the Xbox Developer Direct. The show will start at 19:00 (CET).
