"Wrap" for $10,000: Tesla Cybertruck covered in solar panels that power the on-board battery

Californian company Sunflare Solar has covered the entire body of the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck, except for the underside, with flexible solar panels of its own design. Theoretically, they could add about 15 miles (24 kilometres) of driving range per day.
The entire solar panel system for the Cybertruck costs $10,000 and comes complete with a 5kW inverter, which is needed to transfer power to the Cybertruck's battery.
Cybertruck and Tesla solar panels
As you know, the Tesla Cybertruck went on sale with an unpainted stainless steel body, while the rest of the brand's models have a more conventional paint finish. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said back in 2017 that he pushed his engineers to consider integrating solar panels into the Model 3, but they concluded that it wasn't rational at the time.
Since then, the efficiency of solar cells has increased and Tesla has built up its own expertise in this area. After the launch of the Cybertruck, Musk announced that Tesla's new electric pickup truck would get the option of a roof-mounted solar panel. However, it has yet to appear.
