Streaming service Netflix has published a new trailer of animated film "The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep" (The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep), which is based on Andrzej Sapkowski's story "A Little Sacrifice" (A Little Sacrifice) from the book "The Sword of Destiny" (The Sword of Destiny).

Here's What We Know

In the two-minute clip, viewers are reminded that in this story, Geralt and his loyal companion Buttercup (Jaskier) will meet the sorceress Yennefer and together they will go in search of a sea monster that is terrorising a fishing village.

Along the way, Geralt and Yenneferier encounter a siren who, like her prototype from The Little Mermaid, traded her fish tail for human legs to be with her lover, but every step she takes is painful, so over time it has become her curse.

Geralt, who is voiced by Doug Cockle (the voice of the Witcher in CD Projekt games), will have to do battle with dangerous monsters from the depths of the sea to help both the siren and the villagers. Apparently, viewers will be shown plenty of fight scenes and dramatic moments.

When We Can Expect It

The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep will premiere on 11 February 2025.
