European version of Samsung Galaxy S25+ tested in Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip
Samsung Galaxy S25+ will be powered by a new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, as confirmed by recent Geekbench tests. It was previously speculated that the device would be powered by the Exynos 2500, but now it has been revealed that the final version will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Here's What We Know
In Geekbench tests, the Galaxy S25+ scored 2,721 points in the single-core test and 9,435 points in the multi-core test, which is significantly higher than the results of Exynos 2500-based prototypes. The new chip will provide high performance and support for new features related to artificial intelligence.
The internationally tested SM-S936B, which will also be sold in Europe, confirms that all Galaxy S25 models will eventually run only on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
The Galaxy S25+, as well as other models in the S25 lineup, will be unveiled on 22 January at the Galaxy Unpacked event, and pre-orders for the new products will start on the same day.
