Microsoft is systematically ending support for Windows 10 and urges users to upgrade their operating systems to the current version. The American company said that soon on the outdated OS will stop supporting popular applications for office work.

Here's What We Know

From 14 October 2025, support for apps that are part of Microsoft 365 will end on Windows 10. Such popular programmes as Word, Excle, PowerPoint and Outlook from that date will receive updates only on Windows 11, which Microsoft offers to install for free if the computer meets the system requirements.

The aforementioned programmes will continue to run on Windows 10, but Microsoft will not be able to guarantee their correct operation and will not care about their stability.
